For Re•Naissance, transportation is fully organized to make your arrival and departure as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Transportation between Playa del Carmen and the retreat center in Ekumal is included in the retreat price. A private shuttle will pick participants up from a designated meeting point in Playa del Carmen and bring the group directly to the retreat center at the beginning of the retreat, with return transportation organized at the end of the experience.

Private transportation between Cancun Airport and Playa del Carmen is also included under specific conditions. This includes:

• Cancun Airport → Playa del Carmen before the retreat
• Playa del Carmen → Cancun Airport after the retreat

To ensure smooth coordination, flight information and arrival times must be shared in advance so transportation can be organized accordingly.

Please note that included transportation applies only within the retreat travel framework. Any transportation involving different cities, alternative destinations, modified schedules, extended stays, or travel outside the retreat dates remains the responsibility of the participant.

However, we are always happy to help arrange trusted private transportation whenever possible. Transfers can also be organized from or to nearby destinations such as Tulum or other locations in the Riviera Maya at an additional cost.

While taxis and ADO buses are available from Cancun Airport, we generally recommend private transportation for greater comfort, safety, and ease of travel.

Do not hesitate to contact us for guidance or support regarding transportation arrangements.

No experience is necessary. The retreat is open to all levels—from beginners to seasoned practitioners. Our facilitators offer modifications and guidance to ensure everyone feels supported and empowered throughout each session.

Not at all — participation in the Ayahuasca (or any medicinal) ceremony is completely optional.

Everything we offer during the retreat is framed as a ceremony, and we often use the word medicine to describe practices that support healing and transformation. However, this term can be broad and sometimes misunderstood — what we offer is always natural, safe, and guided with deep care and intention.

The experience itself varies for each person. Some medicines work more on the mind, others may bring visions or emotions to the surface. Any form of physical or energetic cleansing that occurs is gentle and natural — nothing chemical remains in the body. What stays is the sense of clarity, confidence, and personal growth that often follows.

It’s also important to know that not everyone who wishes to participate is automatically accepted. For medical or emotional reasons, we sometimes recommend skipping the ceremony to ensure each person’s safety and wellbeing.

You are warmly welcome to join the retreat without taking part in this ceremony. Many participants choose not to and still leave feeling deeply nourished, inspired, and transformed by the experience as a whole.

Important note: Participation in this ceremony is optional.

The sacred medicine of Grandmother Ayahuasca is a profound tool for deep healing and self-discovery. It offers an opportunity to reconnect with your inner being, heal relationships with yourself and others, and access higher states of consciousness through prayer. Your vision of life and spirituality will be amplified, and your consciousness elevated.
Participating in a sacred Ayahuasca ceremony requires deep respect for the plant, the participants, and the ceremony itself. A clear and intentional focus is essential, as this is not a therapy for everyone and NOT A RECREATIONAL EXPERIENCE.
